40 Days and 1001 Nights
A new book from Tamalyn Dallal
Read along with Tamalyn Dallal, author of "Belly Dancing For Fitness"
and "They Told Me I Couldn't" as she dances through life in a variety of
Islamic countries for 40 days each. First stop, Indonesia, where she
spent time in Banda Aceh -- where the tsunami hit -- and other unique
experiences in Java and Sumatra. Then spend a winter with her in Egypt's
Siwa Oasis and Zanzibar. And off to Jordan next, eventually
spending the last 40 day adventure in Xinjiang -- China's largest
province -- where the local population is predominantly Islamic and
speaks a variety of Turkic languages.
