Tamalyn Dallal's Week Long Workshop in Seattle, "Belly Dance A to Z"
Special guest Helene Eriksen
This intensive dance and culture workshop includes: Welcome performance concert by Tamalyn Dallal and Helene Eriksen, followed by six days of the following: four hours per day of classes by Tamalyn Dallal, one hour of lectures and films daily re; dance history, culture, costuming and makeup, then two hours per day of specialized dances with Helene Eriksen: Persian, Turkish Rom, Central Asian, and more.
This workshop intends to go beyond choreography, beyond what we label as Cabaret and Tribal, and take us all on a journey through the world of dance that has impacted what we do and give depth to our understanding, thus enhance each dancer's performance and teaching.
