This lovely CD was created when Tamalyn introduced several classical songs: La Habanera from Carmen, Scheherezade Suite, Bolero, Canon and Dance BAcchanale from Samson and Delilah- to the oldest band in Africa, Ikhwan Safaa Musical Club of Zanzibar. They created pieces for listening or for Oriental dance combining Western classical, Arabic and Zanzibari music....Mostly playing by ear without the aid of notes or scores. A stroke of genius.
