The teachers at Ottomon are wonderful, as is Dena (the owner). They have music classes, and special community oriented events. I teach workshops here when in Seattle, and I love to rent the adorable, reasonably priced space for my rehearsals.

One of my first students, Amar has been dancing since 1989. She has been a principal dancer and toured with Bellyqueen, the Bellydance Supserstars and more.

This accomplished young dancer is among the top Oriental dancers on the scene today. She has a deep understanding of music, arts and culture. Roshana does both Arabic and classical Persian dance.

One of the world's top names in Oriental dance, Bozenka was a headliner with Bellydance Superstars and tours the world dancing and teaching the art of belly dance.

Hanan is a multidisciplinary artist who is currently residing in New York, working on a graduate thesis at NYU based on Middle Eastern dance arts. She is currently director of the Mid Eastern Dance Exchange non profit organization that I founded in 1990.

Shahar, one of the primary dancers of the Mid Eastern Dance Exchange Performing Co., is one of the most innovative and creative dancers. Back in Miami, she teaches at the Art of Bellydance Studio.

Francesca Sahar has raveled numerous times to EGypt to study and absorb the Egyptian style of dance, not to mention the culture. Modern Egyptian style, beautiful dancer. Teaches at Art of Bellydance Studio.

Samay opened the world of bellydance to thousands of women and has generations of dancers who have followed her footsteps. Intensely subtle, culturally aware.
